Model DE Series UVC Emitters™

Steril-Aire's Double-Ended fixtures are ideal for internal installation in medium to large air handling systems in commercial, industrial, health care and institutional buildings.

Model DE fixtures may be mounted singly, in built-up banks or in parallel configurations in a variety of locations, including coils, drain pans, ductwork, mixed air plenums and exhaust systems. DE Fixtures may also be ceiling or wall-mounted for specialty applications in health care and food processing.

The DE Series is available in six lengths (18", 24", 30", 36", 42" and 62"), 110-277 V, 50/60 Hz, providing installation flexibility to accommodate virtually any system.

Model SE Series UVC Emitters™

Steril-Aire's Single-Ended Emitters are ideal for external mount in fan coils, heat pumps, unit ventilators, terminal units and ductwork.

Steril-Aire Single-Ended (SE Series) fixtures are installed from the exterior of HVAC equipment, making them ideal for difficult to access sites.

These germicidal lamps are easily installed with a one-inch hole in the equipment wall and/or duct, and then simply mounting the fixture to the unit exterior. Only the lamp or tube penetrates into the system, while the power supply remains external.

The SE Series is available in seven lengths — 12", 16", 20", 24", 30", 36" and 42" — with a 120-277 V, 50/60 Hz universal power supply.

Award-Winning UVC Kit for Unitary Air Conditioners

Steril-Aire's proven UVC technology is packaged into a convenient kit designed for unitary systems of less than 5 tons — ideal for condos, apartments and homes, hotels and motels, dormitories and smaller commercial retail and industrial applications.

Steril-Aire UVC Kit for Unitary Air Conditioners is designed for easy installation in unitary systems of less than 5 tons. It delivers energy savings and improved indoor air quality to retrofit units and maintains factory design efficiency on new units. It is ideal for use in mini-split and ductless systems, split systems, PTAC units and heat pumps with coil sizes up to 15" high by 26" wide.

Components can be selected based on voltage, UVC Emitter length and the widest range of mounting options in the industry. The UVC Kit for Unitary Air Conditioners includes a compact power supply in either 120V or 208/230V, a choice of mounting options and an option from five Emitter lengths — 7.5", 10", 16", 20" and 24".

SE Series UVC Ozone Emitters for Kitchen Exhaust

Steril-Aire's Single-Ended (SE Series) UVC/Ozone fixtures are used for kitchen extract ducts to remove odours and grease and to ensure the expelled air does not contaminate the neighbouring environment.

Installation is made by making a 1” hole in the duct, mounting the fixture to the exterior of the duct and cantilevering the emitter tube across the full width of the duct. Subject to proximity of people to the extract duct, additional UVC emitters may be required to eliminate the expelled air. SE UVC/Ozone Emitters are available in seven lengths: (12”, 16”, 20”, 24”, 30”, 36” and 42”) with a universal 120-277 V power supply.

Modular Radiometer Systems

The Modular Radiometer System is designed to monitor UV output intensity of Steril-Aire UVC Emitters™ for precise, instantaneous irradiance readings with reproducible results. The Radiometer System uses a solid-state photodiode detector which is extremely stable with a low temperature coefficient to measure UVC radiation accurately.

The Steril-Aire Radiometer System features a modular structure. It includes a separate Display Module, UV Sensor and Logic Controller, allowing the use of some or all components to fit the needs of the end-user. An extension data cable for the sensor, controller or display and a display holder is available as an accessory. In addition, four bundled KIT options are available that offer easy sensor readings from outside the duct in single or multiple air handler installations or connecting to third party monitoring systems.

Irradiance can be defined in both μW/cm2 as well as user-defined pre-set percentage – functions usually found in much more expense models. It thereby ensures change-out of UVC lamps at optimum intervals, for maximum economy with no compromise in performance.

NIST traceable calibration resides within the sensor for ease of calibration. The Logic Controller provides easy-to-read visual indication of relative UVC Emitter output. It may be used with a portable (hand-held) Display Module to provide digital readout data of relative or absolute power output of the lamp in microwatts/cm2. The Logic Controller is easily connected to HVAC building management systems (BMS) or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with 4-20 mA, 0-1 V Sensor, Logic Controller, and a NO-NC relay.
